He has long been engaged in scientific research and applied development in the fields of intelligent optimisation, digitalisation, and intelligent production control and management technologies. He has led more than 40 research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the 863 Programme, the 973 Programme, the National Major Science and Technology Special Projects, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s Smart Manufacturing Special Project, the National Key Research and Development Programme, as well as defence pre-research projects and industry-sponsored research. Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Senior Member of the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering, and Member of the Chinese Association of Automation and the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence. He also serves as a peer reviewer for the National Natural Science Foundation of China. |

He is a member of the IEEE; Vice-Chairman of the National Association of Mechanical Engineering Testing Technology in Higher Education Institutions and Chairman of its Automatic Detection Technology Branch; Vice-Chairman of the Dynamic Testing Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Vibration Engineering; Member of the Engine Testing and Measurement Technology Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics; and a member of the Service Robotics Working Group under the Robotics and Robotic Equipment Sub-Technical Committee of the National Technical Committee for Standardisation of Automation Systems and Integration; and Standing Editorial Board Member of the journal *Vibration, Testing and Diagnosis*. He has led three projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, as well as four sub-projects under the Major Research Programmes of the National Natural Science Foundation, the National 863 Programme, and the National Major Special Project for Machine Tools, alongside five provincial and ministerial-level grants and over ten industry-sponsored research projects. |
